Supported living schemes
We provide self-contained rooms in a four bed shared accommodation where clients are free to personalize the rooms to individual homely tastes. We provide tenancy for up to 2 years, after which the supported clients move on to a more independent accommodation if possible.
This is normally a council house or privately rented accommodation. Our future plan is to provide studio flats where clients will have longer tenancy. Floating
Clients are supported to learn, regain and maximize independent living skills like cooking, shopping, cleaning, house chores, budget and finance management, self-care and socialization.
Tender Heart supported housing provides high skilled level of support to service users between ages 18-65 in quiet and safe residential areas in Newham.
Our Services
Education & Training
We support clients to identify their educational and training needs.
This will not only help them regain their confidence and self-worth, it will also minimize stigma and facilitate social inclusion.
We also support clients with completing application forms and sourcing funding when required.
Employment
We support clients to gain paid or voluntary employment that will enhance their self-dignity and respect.
We work with job centres and employment assessment agencies to support clients in writing cv’s gaining interview techniques and making informed decisions when considering employment.
Rehabilitation
We work closely with all stakeholders and referral routes such as Rehabilitation and Recovery team, community Mental Health Teams, Early intervention in psychosis Team, Assertive Outreach Team, Rehabilitation Departments such as Alcohol and Drug Unit or Substance Misuse Team and Day Center.

Mental Health Support
Inclusivity means a lot to us. That is why we are committed to improve the outcomes of our service users by building trusting relationships in a peaceful and positive way within a therapeutic approach. Our in-house qualified staff work in collaboration with other healthcare providers (GP, Care coordinators, Social workers, Psychiatrist, and so on). We also work with the Forensic & Complex Mental Health Teams (Assertive and Forensic Outreach Service, Mental Health Recovery Team, Mental Health Complex Care Team)to provide comprehensive Mental Health Support(Counselling, Keyworking sessions, Care Programme approach meetings and report, Medical Review, and so on) for our Service Users
